Congratulations Headway graduates!

On 30 November 2017 we gathered in Alexandria Town Hall to celebrate the wonderful achievement and success of our Headway Program graduates: Margaret Baldwin, Desmond Edwards, Owen Gill, John McDonnell, Darlene Proberts, Steve Simao, Kamini Singh,Georgina Wood and Pauline Trennery.

Headway is a focused artistic skills development program for Milk Crate Theatre participants that are seeking a next level of challenge. Developed and delivered by our Artistic Director Margot Politis, Headway is a "next stage" program designed to expand and deepen artistic practice, as well as focusing on the nuts and bolts skills required for facilitation of creative processes and producing artistic work independently. All program graduates received a statement of attainment in partnership with TAFE NSW.

We celebrated with an evening of dinner and speeches with our community partners, arts partners, family, friends, board and supporters of Milk Crate Theatre. Thank you to everyone who joined us to mark the end of this inaugural program and the beginning of the next phase of our artist development program, Pathways! Read more about Pathways here.

Name, Title

In all that we do, we acknowledge that the foundations of Milk Crate Theatre are on Gadigal Land of the Eora Nation and that wherever we create, we walk in the footprints of the ancestors that were here before us. We pay respect to Elders past, present and to walk side by side, hand in hand for a healing future.
