A Message from CEO Jodie Wainwright - June 24 2021
In light of recent developments in community transmission of COVID-19, Milk Crate Theatre has decided to postpone our performance season of INTERIM which was to be staged at 107 next week. We will work with the community in Waterloo and venues to confirm new dates for the performance season later this year and will keep everyone updated on this. We thank those of you who showed your support by securing a ticket, and we look forward to bringing this work to you soon.
We have also suspended workshops in Claymore for this Friday. Fortunately, our other workshop series have entered our usual two-week break from this week, so we will use this time to monitor the situation as it develops and announce any potential changes to programming over the coming weeks.
Our office team will be working from home in the short term but are still contactable on the usual mobile numbers and via email.
We appreciate that this time is challenging and stressful and we want to reassure you that, first and foremost, we are focusing on ensuring health and safety for everyone in our communities.
We also recognise that this situation could be causing additional stress or triggering emotions and memories of the challenges of last year. We would encourage you to reach out to us or your other service providers if you are struggling and we include a list of numbers below.
